L'Atelier de Siloë est heureux de vous faire part de la naissance éditoriale du manuscrit : "Duo d'une vie".

Ce livre enluminé a été réalisé en collaboration avec les Editions Deci-Delà, dirigées par Maëlle Faugères.

L'idée de Maëlle : comment faire comprendre à un enfant adopté qu'il est le fruit de deux femmes, de deux amours, de deux destins ?

Ce livre est d'abord un manuscrit original offert en cadeau de naissance à sa fille adoptive, d'origine vietnamienne. Maëlle et moi avons travaillé ensemble pour créer un livre personnalisé et truffé de symboles et de clins d'oeil destinés à sa fille et à son histoire. Puis à travers l'édition de ce manuscrit, orné de délicates et symboliques enluminures illustrant un poème très juste, ce livre à destination des enfants adoptés ainsi que de leur entourage questionne plus généralement sur la réalité et la complexité de l’adoption.

L'intégralité des droits d'auteurs liés à cette édition sont reversés à l'association par pays d'origine (APPO) Fleur Blanche.

Cette association humanitaire a vocation à faire parvenir du matériel médical au Vietnam et financer certaines opérations des enfants vietnamiens.
